Every year you buy him the same wallet, the same shirt, the same bottle of something. Give us his name and date of birth instead — we'll tell you which of ten leather colours is his, and mark it with a seal nobody else on earth has. The reading is free.
Most personalised wallets print your name on the leather. A machine does that in four seconds and it tells you nothing. We read your name, your date of birth and your intention — three inputs, seven grahas, one answer.
Growth, wealth, stability, clarity, authority, relationships or protection. Pick the one that's true right now. This is the heaviest-weighted input in the whole system — what you want should be able to move the answer.
Your date gives us your Mulank and Bhagyank. Your name gives us your Namank, using Chaldean values. Your sign is placed against the Lahiri ayanamsa — the same one every Indian astrologer uses. All of it is scored across seven grahas. Birth time is optional and unlocks a deeper reading.
One colour from eight. One Sanskrit word. One alphanumeric code and one glyph, generated only for you. Every part of it comes with the reasoning behind it — nothing is arbitrary.
And every one of them ends in the same aisle — a wallet, a belt, a bottle of something. This is the same wallet, except it was chosen by his chart and nobody else on earth has his seal.
Seven are tied to a graha and assigned by your chart. Three — Dhumra, Lehsunia and Kajal — are open to anyone. Each is named for the stone it comes from, not the planet, which is why they look like this and not like a fancy-dress box.
Your chart picks one of the first seven. You can always override and carry any of the ten.
Made to order after your reading, in the colour your chart points to — or whichever of the ten you'd rather carry. Both ship with the ₹1 coin and red thread already inside.
Every TIKKLE piece carries a seal generated from one birth chart alone. It's blind-debossed into the leather — no ink, no foil, just pressure. They'll feel it before they see it, and only they will know what it says.
Nobody carries the cash they carried ten years ago. ATM visits have roughly halved. What's actually left in an Indian man's pocket is four cards, an ID and one folded note — which is exactly what we built around.
So the wallet got slimmer and the cardholder became the hero. Both take a real beating: full-grain hide doesn't peel the way coated leather does, and the edges are painted in four passes so they don't crack at the fold after one monsoon.
Tikkle — from the tilak, the mark placed at an auspicious moment. Yours goes inside the leather.
Ask most people for Jupiter's colour and they'll say yellow. Ask for Mars and they'll say red. That's the word — but the word isn't where the tradition actually points.
Classical Indian colour language names materials, not pigments. Jupiter is pukhraj and haldi. Mars is moonga, red coral. Saturn is neelam and iron. And real materials are quiet things — turmeric is a dusty ochre, not a neon. Coral is a soft orange-red, not a fire engine. So we took the colour of the stone, not the colour of the word.
The hue stays faithful. Only the saturation moves. Pukhraj Dust is genuinely yellow — it's simply yellow the way turmeric is yellow, rather than the way a printer's ink is yellow. That's a more accurate reading of the shastra than a Pantone swatch, and it happens to be the reason our wallets look like something you'd actually carry to work.
He could believe none of this and still be holding one of the better-made wallets in the country at this price. That's deliberate — the astrology is why you chose it, the leather is why he keeps it.
It's one of the oldest rules in an Indian house, and it matters twice over for a gift. A new wallet, a new purse, a new safe — you never hand it over with nothing inside. Shagun. On Dhanteras especially, you put something in first: a coin, a grain of rice, a rupee wrapped in red cloth.
Most people remember this at the door, an hour before they hand it over. So we do it for you. Every TIKKLE piece leaves Kanpur with a ₹1 coin and a length of red thread already sitting in the note sleeve — the shagun is already inside before you wrap it.
Costs us about fifteen rupees. Included at no charge on every order, every colour, every piece.
Buying a new wallet on Dhanteras is an old habit in this country. If that's what you're here for — Dhanteras falls on Friday 6 November, and reservations close 5 November. Certificate and ₹1 coin arrive on the day, leather follows in December.
Corporate gifting in India is a dry-fruit box with a logo sticker on it. Nobody keeps it, and everyone knows what it cost. Same at Diwali, same at onboarding, same at every milestone.
Send us a list of names and dates of birth instead. Every person gets the colour their own chart points to, their own seal, their own certificate — cut from one dye lot so the set still looks like it came from one place. Your logo goes blind-debossed on the box, not on the leather.
GST invoice, single PO, one delivery address. Diwali is our busiest window — for volumes before Dhanteras, reserve by 15 October.
No payment, no account. See their colour and their seal, then decide whether to send it.
We send one email a month. Never your birth data, to anyone, ever.
Most TIKKLE pieces are bought for someone else. Either way the reading is free.
This shapes the wording on their certificate — and it's how we know when to remind you next year.
Pick what's true for them right now. This carries the most weight in the calculation — heavier than their sign, heavier than their numbers.
Used to calculate their Namank using Chaldean values. Spelling matters — use the name they actually go by.
Gives us their Mulank, their Bhagyank and their sign against the Lahiri ayanamsa.
Must be 18 or older.
It unlocks the complete reading — Lagna, Nakshatra and current Mahadasha. Almost nobody knows this for someone else, and it changes nothing about what you'll receive.
They do their own chart, pick their own piece, and we cut it in their colour. You never have to ask them for their birth date — which rather ruins the surprise anyway.
Delivered by email and WhatsApp, on the date you choose. Valid 12 months.
Reading the chart
Some people prefer to carry a different colour. That's yours to decide.
